Weekly Desh desk, 25 May 2020:  Young volunteers aged 16-19 from Vallance Community & Sports Association, a grassroots organisation catering for the sporting, health & recreational needs for people living in Tower Hamlets and neighbouring boroughs, have taken the initiative to give back to their community during the current Covid 19 pandemic.

With the support from Pesh Kapasiawala Chigwell Covid 19 Volunteers, Sonia Lard and local resident Rahima Begum the youths have secured 500 hot meals from Compassion London per week which they distribute to vulnerable families, local hospices, care homes and charities working with the homeless.
